Development Description
Permission for development to: a). restore and convert former railway station building to tennis clubhouse and develop canopies to eastern and southern elevations, b). develop four outdoor tennis courts with full ITF Class 1 Professional tennis court sports lighting at corners of each court (10 poles in total at 12m high) with viewing area along southern perimeter of the courts, c). develop three covered tennis courts incorporating openable sides with full ITF Class 1 Professional indoor tennis court sports lighting with internal viewing areas, d). develop two outdoor and two covered Padel Tennis courts (incorporating open or openable sides) with 6m court sports lighting, e). develop mini-tennis court and practice wall, f). construct a young children’s play/recreation area, g). develop two single-storey equipment stores/service sheds, h). erect new tennis court fencing around courts and rigid fence along perimeter of site, i). install 2m high double leaf entrance gates at four locations within site, j). develop landscaping including all paved areas, k). improve site entrance and approach to site entrance, l). develop car parking and provide bicycle parking, m). provide connection to public sewerage and water system, n). install rainwater harvesting and attenuation tanks and all associated works
