The July clarification leaves scale, drainage, ecology and acoustic design unresolved. An August notification repeats that request; it grants or refuses neither the original nor a revised scheme.
The council asks the applicant to reconsider the scale
Clarification request; outcome unverified
What the evidence says
The July clarification asks the applicant to give serious consideration to omitting Tennis Hall 2 and Padel Courts 2 and 3, alongside a revised layout and ecological work. The August notification repeats the clarification decision. The requested reductions are not treated as an adopted revised scheme or a refusal.
Why it may matter — interpretation
Building and sports-surface suppliers need the next accepted layout before relying on original court quantities.
What is not established
A further response, formal deadline extension, withdrawal, refusal, final grant or start is unverified.

Capacity and sewer clearances remain unresolved
Council-required drainage clarification
What the evidence says
The clarification requires revised attenuation drawings and calculations, stating that the proposed 424 m³ is considered undersized and that attenuation should use SuDS rather than underground tanks. It requires buildings to avoid 3 m on either side of the existing surface-water sewer and flags a 450 mm foul sewer beneath a proposed building for consultation with Uisce Éireann.
Why it may matter — interpretation
Civil designers face both capacity and building-layout constraints; submitted storage is not an accepted specification.
What is not established
Revised accepted capacity, sewer-diversion agreement, final layout and installed system are unverified.

Modelled curtain performance still needs evidence
Consultant model challenged by council clarification
What the evidence says
The June Rev C noise report models a nominal acoustic curtain at around 12 dB performance, covering the roof and upper sides with a full-height southern screen. The July request says product acoustic certification is missing and asks for clarification of modelling, berm effects and court-construction assumptions. The 12 dB figure is a model input, not verified product performance.
Why it may matter — interpretation
Acoustic suppliers need tested performance and coordinated court/screen details before pricing an accepted mitigation design.
What is not established
Selected curtain, laboratory certificate, accepted noise assessment and installed attenuation are unverified.
