This Short Form Commencement Notice relates to Site Works associated with the Landscaping and Infrastructure Enabling works being delivered as part of the Future Campus Phase 1 project and comprises the following: - Modifications to the existing entrance arrangement to the University College Dublin campus at Belfield to clear the site for future development of buildings (which will be subject to future commencement notices). - New underground services installations and diversion works. - Diversion and reconfiguration of the existing internal road network within the application boundary and provision of 1 no. roundabout providing vehicular access/egress to/from the existing car park (at the north eastern boundary of the site), the reconfigured Engineering car park and Belfield House. - Hard and soft landscaping works, including the removal of existing trees, landscaping boundary treatments, campus lighting etc. - Demolition of the following buildings and structures: a. security hut/entrance booth (c.40 sqm) located at the main campus entrance. b. The single storey Campus Bank building (c.340 sqm). c.
