The proposed change of use from residential to short-term letting would be contrary to objective TM49 of Volume 1 of the Wexford County Development Plan 2022-2028 which seeks to protect the County's existing housing stock from any proposal that would undermine the supply of housing within the county. The proposed change of use of a dwelling from long term residential to short-term letting in an unserviced rural area remote from dedicated services, including a public footpath and public lighting, would also be contrary to the proper planning and sustainable development of the area.
