The conservation, alterations, extension and refurbishment of the existing detached three storey house (Protected Structure), with associated site, The alterations comprise, at ground floor:- the removal of the non-original glazed rear porch, the removal of a non- original external door and window in the kitchen and the blocking up of the openings; the replacement of non-original casement window with a sash window to match the originals, the removal of an internal wall between the existing kitchen and sitting room; the insertion of a visitors bathroom, the insertion of two no. patio doorsteps from the sitting room to the rear garden; and at first floor:- the removal in 2 no. existing bathrooms of non-original partitions, finishes and sanitary ware, the replacement of 2 no. non-original rooflights, the formation of a part dormer roof over the northern annexe, the breaking out of two no. new doorsets to a new En Suite Bathroom and dressing room extension at the southern annexxe; at second floor:- the alteration of non-original existing en suite bathroom partition and renewal of finishes and fittings. The extension comprises:- at ground floor, the addition of c. 5 sqm to the existing home office, and at first floor, the addition of c 16.5 sqm, to form new en suite bathroom and dressing room, with new sash windows front and rear to match existing windows. The works also include the renewal of non-original plumbed and wired services and kitchen, bathroom and bedroom fittings and fixtures, the conservation and repair of existing windows and doors, and the replacement in natural slate of the existing fibre cement slated roof on the rear annex.
