Works description

The development comprises of an IDA Athlone Regional HQ Refurbishment of circa 1,467 sq m situated at the IDA Business & Technology Park Garrycastle, Athlone. The renovation and fit-out works consist of: 1. Provision of new solar photovoltaic panels on the south facing roof of the building. 2. Provision of 2 no. new dormer louvres to north facing roof of building. 3. Provision of a new door on the south façade of the building, in place of an existing window ope. 4. Provision of a new 10-bike cycle shelter. 5. Provision of a new smoking shelter. 6. Provision of a new external seating area. 7. Provision of a new e-car charging point. 8. Provision of revised external lighting layout. 9. Revisions to existing M&E Plant compound. 10. It is proposed to replace all the existing windows in the building, and curtain walling at the main entrance, with new windows and curtain walling to match existing. This Commencement Notice involves the works for item no. 1 & 3 above only. All other works are covered under Commencement Notice ref..
