The development will consist of the refurbishment of the existing vacant scoil Padraig building to include internal remodel, fit out, and external envelope upgrades. The existing building has been stripped back to a shell and core condition. Internal remodel works will include part demolition of internal block walls and sub-division of existing spaces using MF partitions. External envelope upgrades will upgrade the building to Part L compliance including replacement of existing ground floor concrete slab, EWIS to entire façade, new aluminium windows and doors, strip back and replace existing roof finishes with torch on weathering membrane on tapered insulation. Fit out works will include new finishes throughout, new internal joinery, and fit out of all teaching spaces to DoE requirements. Proposed site works to include complete replacement of existing underground drainage network, grubbing up and resurfacing of entire hardstand area, line marking to ball court, replacement of weathering layer to site structures roofs, minor repair and repainting or existing shelters and boundaries.
