1.2.1 The development comprises of the refurbishment of the existing nursing home building into a new Dual Diagnosis facility and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) facility respectively. The refurbishment works will also include the Training Area, which has its own external entrance. The works will also include the demolition of existing external concrete stairway, which serves a first-floor storage room, and the provision of new dormer roof entrance accessed via a new external steel stair. Site works include the creation of a new entrance area for the CAMHS facility, a new turning and set down area and additional parking, all to the rear of the site. New line marking will be provided for parking spaces and to demarcate the pedestrian route. Landscape works include tidying up of existing and providing new planting around the new CAMHS entrance. 1.2.2 There will be energy upgrade works to the existing building, including new external insulated render to the external walls, new triple glazed windows and new attic insulation.
