Development Description
the development will consist of the demolition of existing boundary walls, demolition of existing single storey six classroom school building of 685sq.m demolition of existing open shed of 25sq.m and demolition of prefabricated classroom building of 207 sq.m. The existing 4no. Classroom block constructed in 2011 with a gross floor area of 370sq.m will be retained and integrated into the new school. The new development consists of new two storey primary school building with a gross floor area of 1720sq.m. New accommodation consists of 8no. new Classrooms, a General Purpose Room and ancillary accommodation. In addition, site works include the replacement of the existing gated entrance with 2no. new gated vehicular and 2 no. new separate pedestrian entrance off the Knockanean Road boundary, serving 24 no. on site car parking spaces and associated set down areas, pedestrian pathways, together with 2 ball courts, play areas, a bin store, a bicycle shelter, gas tank enclosure, 3no. flagpoles, connection to existing foul drainage treatment system, separate surface water drainage, signage, landscaping and all associated site works on an overall site area oof 1.34 hectares. The building will be set back 63.285m from the Knockanean Road
