Permission for development at the site of the former Port Bar, 2 Victoria Road, Cork City, T12FR84. The proposed development will consist of: (I) The demolition of the single-storey, part two-storey ground and first floor structure to the rear of the existing building; (II) The construction of a four-storey extension, increasing the height of thee xisting building b y 1 no. storey to 4 no. storeys; (III) A change of use of the proposed extended part single-storey ground floor from a former public house to use as a cafe, to include the sale of hot food for consumption off the premises, with ancillary kitchen and storage, and external bin store and yard; (IV) Alterations to the existing first, second and third floors, which, together with the proposed extended first and second floors, and new third floor, which will provide 3 no. 2-bed apartments with winter gardens; (V) Lift, rear ground floor bin stores and secure bicycle store; (VI) New mansard pitched roof, with box dormer windows; and (VII) All associated site development and drainge works, including the removal of the top of 2 no. chimneys.
