EXPP: PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Urgent conservation repairs to the copper dome at St. Paul’s Church, Arran Quay, including removal of the defective copper covering, local repair/replacement of damaged timber sarking, installation builders paper, and renewal of the dome in natural copper using traditional standing-seam construction in accordance with the Copper Development Association, Copper in Architecture – Design Handbook (2024). Existing dome form, profile and dimensions to be retained. Existing cross/finial to be removed and reinstated with lightning protection. Temporary scaffold and weatherproof enclosure to be provided.
