The development shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section: b) Prior to the commencement of development, the applicant shall submit revised documentation and drawings to include the following detail for written agreement by the Planning Authority: i. The proposed frames to the shop windows and doors shall be an alternative higher grade material such as steel, bronze or timber. Aluminium is not acceptable. ii. The proposed materials for the lettering shall be revised to be a higher quality material such as steel, and shall be individually pin mounted to the fascia and backlit. Photographic exemplars of the proposed lettering shall be submitted, together with fixing details at a scale of 1:50. iii. Illumination of signage shall be backlit or lit by passive sources and where proposed shall be in a warm colour tone and a specification for all proposed light fixtures shall be submitted. iv. Visual samples and /or RAL numbers for the proposed colour scheme for the proposed signage and fenestration shall be submitted.
