the development that will consist of: The demolition of the existing single storey school buildings (area 3,101m²) on site and the construction of an 8,387m² two and four storey 650 pupil post-primary school, including general teaching and administration rooms, a PE hall, a Special Education Needs facility, external stores, ESB substation, 56 No. car parking spaces, 68 No. bicycle parking spaces, bus and car set down / pick up facilities, 3 No. hard play court areas, grass play areas, hard and soft landscaping and boundary treatments and associated development works. The site is adjacent to the Lower Shannon SAC. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the planning authority with the application and will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the office of the planning authority
