It is an objective under the provisions of Section 3.1.2 (Standards for Single Dwellings in Rural Areas) and Section 8.3 (Wastewater) Volume 2 of the Wexford County Development Plan 2022-2028 inter alia to permit the development of single dwelling houses only where it is demonstrated that the proposed wastewater treatment system is in accordance with the EPA Code of Practice Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems Serving Single Houses. Note: It is recommended that if reapplying for permission the applicant should; 1) Include for temporary permission for the retention of the container on site in the next planning application description. 2) Submit a report prepared by a suitably qualified person stating that the existing septic tank can cater for the proposed loading 3) And/or if point 2 is not feasible then include full details of a new proposed DWWTS and ensure this is included in the proposed description of works.
