Development Description
In advance of work commencing on site, the applicant/developer shall submit the following information for the written agreement of the planning authority: a) Specification for the replacement slate of a like-for-like match of the original slates on the terrace (i.e. blue Bangor Slate). b) Conservation-led methodology for the removal of the bars and subsequent repairs to the granite cills. c) All proposed window replacements shall be historically correct timber sash windows, which are accurately based on surviving originals. Details of the proposed new glazing shall be submitted. The new frames shall have a traditional putty finish to the exterior. Reason: In order to protect the original fabric, character and integrity of the Protected Structure at No. 7 Summerville Park, its setting and curtilage, including its structure and architectural detail, fixtures and fittings and materials, and to ensure that the proposed works are carried out in accordance with best conservation practice.
